Seriously. I've pretty much read the entire Internet when it comes to my long standing fandoms and have now moved on to small ones that catch my eye. Even doing that does not appease the beast, though. Me getting desperate as I reach the end of yet another fandom is not a pretty sight, my friends. Additionally, there aren't that many fandoms left in which I have even the slightest interest. I guess I could take this as a sign to, you know, get a life but I won't. I just have this ugly picture of me finally breaking down and wandering into the scarybad place of Kirk/Spock.

So I'm listening to Satellite Rides, the Old 97's CD. I really love the song 'Weightless' except everytime I hear it, it makes me want to hit something because of this concept:

"An awful lot like outer space
Where everything is weightless, yeah
Even heavy things are weightless, yeah
Don't take up any space at all."

It bothers me way more than it should that Rhett Miller doesn't bother to differentiate between things which are heavy (using weight as a measure) and things which are massive (using space as a measure) take up a lot of space (using volume as a measure). They really aren't the same thing at all and maybe I should stop reading things like The Elegant Universe as pleasure reading.

Last night, in honor of the impending release of OotP, we decided we needed to make t-shirts proclaiming our 'ship preference.

We are now the crew of the HMS Remus/Sirius, Trafalgar class submarine. Also, we have the design for the One True Way shirt ready to go, and lallybroch has designed various options for adult HP panties.

Like I said nerds.

So, I abandoned Dawson's Crap quite a while ago when it became apparent that, yes, they were going to just let the ridiculous Triangle go unabated and that, yes, Dawson's atrocious behavior was OK. Tonight, though, for old time's sake, I watched the final episode.

I know, I know.

First of all, all the Dawson & Joey soulmate talk made me want to heave.

Second, HA! They made Kerr Smith kiss a boy again. Serves you right, you smug little bastard.

Thirdly, Katie Holmes is a terrible actress. She has 2 facial expressions and they both make me want to smack her.

All of that notwithstanding, I cried. Several times, in fact, but it was all related to Jen's baby. Pacey, then Jack promising the baby would be loved KILLED ME.

So, yeah. I'm a big sappy girl who apparently still has a mad crush on Josh Jackson.
