Well artistic license aside, now that's going to bug me too. Just like the beginning of PoA is going to bug me now because my mother just finished reading it and what does she say about it? Heh. She liked Remus very much, though. When I said he's not really in book 4 she said, and I quote, "That figures". I don't have the heart to spoil her for book 5, but I'll be interested to see if she picks up the slash or not. I keep trying to corrupt her but it's not really taking.

Eh, I missed the first response so it's all good. I think the slash makes my mom a little nervous sometimes, but mostly she's cool with it. The word 'fag' flew out of my father's mouth the other day, though, which shocked me so much coming from him that I was, for once in my life, rendered appallingly speechless. I don't recall ever hearing him say something like that in such an ugly way. It was weird.
