I <3 Mozilla...

for many reasons, but mostly because my roommate has spent a good part of the evening trying to remove Trojan Horses from her computer thanks to Internet Explorer.

Also?

I <3 my show. And my twin (whom I will send an email tomorrow about the F1 slash). And [livejournal.com profile] carolinecrane simply for being Caroline.

Additionally?

Why does Semagic refuse to post things for me?

ETA: So after AVG finished running, I restarted Ru's computer and opened IE to update her virus definitions. Immediately got another virus. Updated definitions and ran again. If this was unsuccessful, will probably have to venture into DOS to delete the Content.IE5 folder, which I should probably do anyway for both of us. Bastard Microsoft and their bastard Big Brother techniques.

You know, when I'm running Mozilla at work I have the same problems with Semagic not wanting to post. I get weird error messages and have to coax it to get it to do what I want. It's annoying, but I can't run IE at work at all because it hates our proxy server. Anyway, that might be your Semagic problem.

It's very weird. Like, the first time I post from Semagic after I start it, it works fine. After that, I have to hit cancel and post about 10 times for it to work.

I always get some weird '200 response' error or some such nonsense. I get the feeling Semagic was designed as an IE client and therefore doesn't communicate that well with the Netscape/Mozilla family. I'll have to try it with Opera next time I post and see what happens, because that's one I haven't attempted yet.

Why does everyone use IE? Why? It's a junk program that is like a welcome sign to viruses and hackers.

Because people fear change.

Well, so do I, but I fear losing my computer to jerk hackers more.
