So, yeah. I've been quiet lately. Not for any reason, I just don't have much going on and haven't even been able to come up with any bullshit to spam with.

I'm going to be quiet for a few days longer, too. I'm going to North Carolina tomorrow afternoon through Monday evening for a mini-reunion with the first group of women I became friends with via the Internet. Ah, the halcyon days of my fandom life. When it was just me, my 286, a 56K modem, and The Gossamer Project. Before I knew about fandom wankery and Hate Lists. Before I was bored with straight up PWP. Before I was touched by the demon slash.

Anyway, I met these women in a couple of different waves that started in, hell, 1998. Geez, I've known Cherish and Beth for six years? Huh.

So, yeah. Out of touch until Tuesday. I've gotten myself pretty well organized so all I have left to do is pack and charge up my Palm Pilot.

I will have time in the air, though, to work on some stories. I was thinking about bringing more than one, but I know myself well enough to know that if I do that, nothing will be accomplished. So I'm just going to bring one, my WaT AU. Heh.

justmightbe has read the first few paragraphs and listened to me babble about the background of the characters, but she's the only one who really knows what's what with that story. Part of me wants to just continuousl spam LJ with details about the AU because I am so totally in love with it, but most of me wants to keep it close until the big reveal at pretty_glass.

It's so huge and sprawling. I love it but am simultaneously intimidated.
