Sometime between taking them off my face last night and waking up this morning, my glasses disappeared. The way my room is set up, there's no place they even could go, so I'm super confused.

Though, there's a very good chance they're sitting out in the open somewhere and a) I'm retarded b) I simply couldn't see them before I put in my contacts because I'm blind c) I looked right past them as I did my spring/rain coat which I swore up and down was missing when in reality it was just on a different hook than I expected it to be on.

The past few mornings on my drive into work, I've been heartily amused by one delivery truck. On the side it reads, 'Without Beans, Chili Would Just Be A Bowl of Meat' and on the back, 'Toot If You Love Beans.'

Gotta love whoever did the advertising for the Northarvest Beangrowers Association.

Easily my favorite part of spring are lilac bushes. Minnesota is chock full of them as MNDoT uses them to line highways and most people who have them just let them get ginormous. They line the alley next to my apartment and the other day, I stepped out of my car when I got home from work and that lovely fragrance was just hanging in the air. That was also the same day the white apple blossoms flowered and the pink apple blossoms were still blooming, so it really was gorgeous.

Of course, the pink trees have started to darken and the white ones lost most of their flowers in the wind of the past couple of days, but the lilacs remain...

Oh my god, I just took the crankiest phone call EVER. Dude, yes, I know it sucks having your insurance cancelled and I feel terrible for having to do it, but you did not meet your contractual obligation and there's nothing I can do about that! I offered you a way to fix it, but you were more interested in complaining, so I wash my hands of you.
