I swear, my daily stint on the incoming phone lines is rapidly eroding whatever native intelligence I could once claim.

Between having to say the same thing 87,000 times, listening to idiots try to puzzle out a three question mailing, and the automatic up-talking I'm doing, I think my IQ has dropped by like 50%.

Oh, dude. It's not even the purgatory of reception. It's two hours of customer service phone calls a day.

Oh, right. Insurance customer service, no less. I'm going to stop complaining about people in the library who stop me to ask me librarian questions I'm not qualified to answer, because...yeah. Your job sucks way worse than mine.
