but it's so damn cold.

I know, I know. You're in Minnesota. It's January. What do you expect?

Well, dammit, I expect to not want to die the second I step outside. The low tonight? -19F.

Waaah!

I feel for you. I'm also really glad I don't live there anymore.

I know it's only like a grand total of two weeks that are so unbearable, but geez.

Christ. I feel as if I shouldn't be complaining. Not that it's all that warm here in the Berkshires.

And again tomorrow the high? -3F.

But cold is cold. I'm sure it's cold there too.

Oh, it is. Makes me feel like my nose is going to fall off. Especially when I'm walking back across campus at 12:40am after my weekly Thursday night TV session with my friend Alex.

Come visit me here in Manitoba. It's been -40 C with a windchill that made it feel like -52 C during the past three mornings ... that's about -40 F for you guys without the windchill. Right now it's a balmy -32 C with no windchill :-D.

Americans can't appreciate good cold weather...

;)

That's how you get kids 9 months after a good cold snap!

Heh. Yeah.

Mostly though it's just that it hasn't been this cold in a couple of years. Plus I moved to the South for a year and that really got me out of practice.

With the wind chill it reached a low of -54 C here, but we're really close to Minnisota.

Got a lot of snow in your backyard, eh?

Should be fun come spring.

It's actually been not that snowy the past few years. We have a few inches on the ground right now, but nothing like what I remember from being a kid.
