You know what I wish I could find?

A program with which to create timelines. Single timelines. Simultaneous timelines. Intersecting timelines. Parallel timelines.

I'm a big freakshow, aren't I?

You know what's freakier, I don't think it would be all that hard to write one.

Well, considering my programming knowledge is limited to HTML...

Ooh... That would rock, because I could always use help with timelines, I'm forever losing track... be nice if their was an easier to keep track.

A program for running probabilities. That would be cool. I generally use my brain for that. I have a knack for running those scenarios in my head. Weird, but true.

No, I meant actual physical timelines, not narrative ones; those I can do in my head, but trying to keep track of things like if Speed was born in 1973, then David must have died in '93 and the accident had to have happened in the winter, so the wedding has to be taking place... what?

Oh, yeah. Those would be great. It is hard to keep track of such things. Especially, if they just give you some clues in canon as to when things happened. Where you can guesstimate, but you aren't sure if you are a few years off. Would be nice to have something that could help you chart those things.

I downloaded some trial programs last night, but a) didn't get a chance to try them out and b) don't want to buy anything because I'm hella cheap.

You'd think there'd be something that exists already in OfficeSuite, but maybe not.

Heh! I know what you mean about being cheap. Especially, if I don't know if something is going to work for what I'm looking for. I don't have a lot of cash to spend on stuff like that. So if I can get it for free, all he better.

Good luck with those programs. Hope they work for you.
