My throat hurts from my sinuses draining and I'm nauseous from the same. Additionally, the last time I got a summer cold, it morphed into bronchitis which lasted well over a month. Yay for no health insurance.
No health insurance bites. And although you didn't ask me for unsolicited advice, I find that echinacea helps for bronchitis and other stuff that you'd treat with antibiotics. It's a natural antibiotic; I usually but the Traditional Medicinals Echinacea Elder tea (some grocery stores carry it, all health food stores do). For nausea peppermint tea really does work, or chewing on a piece of candied ginger. It's the same principle as drinking ginger ale for an upset stomach.
Yeah, shutting up now. But infections suck and I've been without health insurance many times myself (like now, for instance), so I've learned which herbs actually work and which don't. Feel better.
No health insurance SUX my ASS. But I'm not going to rant, because you know all about it. Thank god for community clinics, ya know?
But I hope you feel better! Drink lots of tea and take care of yourself! Go read some strange, never before heard of slash to make it fade into the background. :)
