the great mystery because it is a wonder product. The Marshall Fields closest to my house, though, does not carry the Philosophy line. That meant a trip to Nordstroms and the dreaded Mall of America.
I haven't been to the MOA in forever, so of course we ended up in the parking ramp on the opposite side of where we needed to be and, because I am an idiot, I was wearing flip-flops instead of real shoes, so halfway to Nordstroms, my feet started protesting. Loudly.
To make matters worse, Nordstroms has been sold out of it since mid-April.
Then Ru figured that while we were at the MOA, we might as well hit Lane Bryant to see what there was to see for summer fashions. This was a course of action of which I heartily approved. I quite enjoy the shopping, but my feet were lodging a protest so, in true white trash fashion, I just took my shoes off and carried them around. About half way there, we ran across QVC at the Mall. Ru mentioned her sister buys her Philosophy products from QVC. I was doubful, but they had it!
We then continued our journey to Lane Bryant. I have this to say about the Lane Bryant selection lately: the whole Stevie Nicks floaty thing just doesn't work for me. On the plus side, though, I got measured for a bra for the first time in...forever. I mean, I knew my bras didn't fit exactly right and I've gained weight lately, but I had no idea how far off I've been. I've been wearing a 40C when I need a 44DD. Jesus Christ. So, as it was buy one, get one half off, I bought two bras.
Anyway, after Lane Bryant I wanted to check out the cheap shoes at Payless so we journeyed *all the way* across the MOA and I ended up buying the most comfortable pair of shoes EVER, which I cannot find a picture of online.
It was a good day.
