Poor kitten

For the past couple of weeks, our apartment has been infested with these ginormous Amityville horror flies. I'm not kidding, each one is the size of a nickel and each time one turns up dead, there's a new one buzzing around. It's driving the cat insane because they stay just out of her reach and, since since she's not a jumper, she can't get to them. That means she just sits on the floor and chirps clicks at them like she's a Newcomer.

I love when cat's make that sound. It's so cute. Like they are just so excited they can't get a proper meow out. Ours do that whenever they are sitting by the french doors or on a window sill and see a bird outside. So adorable.
