Things here have been boring, hence the complete lack of posting.

It's been a kajillion degrees here lately. It was a little cooler today - the heat index was only 94F.

The upcoming weekend is my 10-year high school reunion, so I'm sure I'll have something to say after that. Lord.

Yesterday I was sitting at a stoplight, going to work. I was eating some peanut butter toast. This car pulls up next to me and the guy motions for me to roll down my window. I thought maybe he was going to tell me my tire was low or something. No, he wanted to hit on me and ask for some of my toast.

I've been sort of writing lately. Mostly working on the world-building for my fantasy novel but also on the CSI AU carolinecrane threw at me a while back. I have so many bits and pieces of scenes, but they're actually stringing together in my head to form a coherent story. I'm not quite sure how long it's going to be though. I'm tempted to just make it this huge, sprawling thing...

Oh! I forgot the best part of that story. After he asks me for some toast, he says, "I could do your hair for you. ::points to smock:: I'm a hairdresser, you know."
