Yeah, it has to be the most unorganized method of investigating (and I use that word loosely) the supernatural that I've ever had the misfortune to see. I don't really doubt that Derek has some psychic ability, but when he goes into those 'trances' I cringe.

Makes me love Ghost Hunters all the more.

I'm afraid I don't understand the crack reference. Frankly, I've never really noticed a cohesive definition for it as applied to fandom.

It has many definitions when it comes to fandom. The main two, in my mind, are:

a) something totally crazy and off the wall like crack!fic

and

b) something completely addictive that may or may not be good for you.
