The blanket for the Weetus tm is 1/2 done!

I have to afghan projects waiting that I need to finish picking yarn for; my mom's will be this blanket with this yarn as the main body and this as the stripe. Her office is deep red and tan and I think that will be lovely.

As for the blanket for my own living room, it will be this patternl for sure, but I'm at a loss for yarn colors. The room itself is a dark, spicy orange and the couch is sage/olive green. I bought some of the espresson here, but I'm not 100% sold on it. Hmmm...

Our friend Beth is pregnant and, as she is but a wee little woman at maybe 5 feet tall, we have all decided her fetus is wee as well. Hence, Weetus.
