Whatever works for you...
My stepmother has never struck me as one to be politcally active, but she's all worked up for the November election and "voting that bastard out of office."
Now, what got her all worked up was the fact that she can't smoke on a public sidewalk in front of her work any more and "I'll tell you, Leah, one minute it's gay marriage, the next is smoking. When is it going to stop?"
