On a kid-vise, it had a few logical mishaps, imho. Three year olds just aren't that vocally sufficient as she was. It was like she was three in some scenes and five in others. And she was really happy and well adjusted for someone just loosing her mom. Even regular divorce kids are more messed up, but that's artistic license, I guess. Oh, and one more thing; Professional security guards would never ever let a three year old in a pool by herself. Not even with adults ready to jump in on any moment. Kids can drown in seconds. The Ways might not understand the risk of letting a kid so young in the pool without an adult but the security definitely would.
