I lost one of my size 0 dpns somewhere between knitting a couple of rows at
lunch yesterday and when I pulled my knitting out this morning to get my
badge for work.

That means it's:

in my purse (nope)
at my desk (nope)
in the locker room area (nope)
in my car (nope)
